Maureen Roche's Bláth Liskett

Maureen Roche's market stall Bláth Liskett

Blath Liskett is the home and farm that Maureen Roche shares with her husband and family in Kilfenora, Co Clare.  She is a qualified Horticulturalist with many years experience in working with plants.  Her passion and knowledge are striking if you take time to question her.  Whether you are a beginner or an experienced gardener you will find something to suit your garden at her stall in the Ballyvaughan Farmers Market.  To mention everything she has to offer would take too much time but here is just a taste of what’s on offer at her market stall:
Hedging Plants – Olearia, Escalonia for the seaside and Laurel for those sheltered gardens
Native Trees and Shrubs such as Rowan, Birch, Ash and Fuchsia
a wide variety of Shrubs, Herbaceous plants and Rockery plants all of which are suitable for our changing climate.
a supply of fresh flowers from her own garden is also available in season.

Maureen says “Trading at Ballyvaughan Farmers Market is a pleasure each week.  Meeting new customers and sharing my experience with them is what makes me happiest.  Come along and see what’s on display and if you have any gardening questions I will be happy to give you expert advice and tips”

One of a handful of organisers, Maureen is dedicated to the promotion and development of the market.
